It is easier to trust a publication when you know its edges, so here are ours.

• Not a clinic. We do not examine anyone, we do not give medical advice, and nothing on this site is a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
• Not a medical referral service. We take no commission, finder’s fee or booking fee from any clinic, and we hold no arrangement with any of them.
• Not sponsored by clinics. There is no paid placement on this site. No clinic can buy a mention, a ranking, or a link.
• Not a review site. We publish no clinic ratings, because a rating built from a handful of anonymous accounts is a worse tool than a check you can run yourself.

Why we know this subject

How we make money

Seoulure earns commission on affiliate links to travel items a reader may need anyway: accommodation, flights, SIM cards and eSIMs, luggage, and aftercare products such as sunscreen. If you buy through one of those links, the price you pay does not change.

We earn nothing from any clinic, treatment, consultation, or procedure booking. There is no version of this site where a clinic can pay us, because the moment one could, every other page here would be worth less.

What we promise

• We date everything. Every page carries a Last verified month. If a page has not been checked recently, you can see that instead of guessing.
• We do not fill gaps with estimates. Where a number cannot be confirmed, the page says varies by clinic. An invented figure is worse than no figure.
• We publish corrections in public. When we get something wrong, the fix and the date go into a running log at the bottom of the editorial policy, not into a quiet edit.
• We update when rules change. Korea changed its VAT rules for aesthetic patients on 1 January 2026 and its arrival paperwork the same month. Pages affected by a rule change get re-checked and re-dated.

Contact and corrections

If a number here is wrong, or a rule has changed, tell us and we will check it. Corrections that hold up get published in the log with the date, whether or not they are flattering.
